Jerome B. Smith Owner, Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer

Jerome B. Smith a Licensed Funeral and Embalmer for 40 years established Smith Funeral Home, Inc. in 1987. A family owned operation, Smith Funeral Home has served families with Professional, Dignified and Caring Services in their time of bereavement. Jerome a graduate of Miami Dade College of Mortuary Science has dedicated his life to serving others, and his attention to detail and compassion are emphasized by the meticulous care used in the daily operation of Smith Funeral Home. His aim has been that every family –regardless of religious background or economic circumstance- feel comforted and at ease during life's most difficult challenge. Professional Affiliations: member of The Florida Mortician Association, serving as Chairperson-2nd Regional District; National Funeral Directors & Mortician Association; Epsilon Nu Delta Mortuary Fraternity, serving as President of the Florida-Georgia-Alabama Chapter; Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP).

Lynda Bryant Smith Co-owner, General Manager, Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer

Smith, Lynda Bryant, a native of St. Petersburg,Florida, Co-owner, General Manager, Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer and wife to Jerome B. Smith, received her Associate of Science Degree in Funeral Service from St. Petersburg College and graduate of Moody Bible Institute. Lynda commitment to helping others has been exemplified not only in funeral service, but also shown in her community efforts as a volunteer worker with Suncoast Hospice and The Pastoral Care Unit at Bayfront Medical Center and St. Anthony's Hospital. Professional Affiliations: member of Florida Mortician Association, serving on the Executive Board and Convention Coordinator; National Funeral Directors and Mortician Association; Epsilon Nu Delta Mortuary Fraternity; 100 Black Women in Funeral Service, Inc.; Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP) and the American Business Women's Association.

Verinda Jackson Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer and Staff Coordinator

Jackson, Verinda, a native of St. Petersburg, Florida, Verinda began her career in funeral service as a Receptionist-Lady Attendant at Smith Funeral Home. Her devotion to funeral service lead her to a professional Career in Funeral service, serving as a Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer and Staff Coordinator at Smith Funeral Home. She received her Associate of Science Degree in Funeral Service from St. Petersburg College. Married to Pastor Kenneth Jackson, Verinda passion in serving other extends to her vocal talent as a spiritual vocalist singing at funeral services and community events. Professional Affiliations: Florida Mortician Association, serving on the Executive Board- serving as Chair of the Legislative Committee; National Funeral Directors and Mortician Association; 100 Black Women in Funeral Service, Inc.; Epsilon Nu Delta Mortuary Fraternity; Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP).
